Trained as a scientist (40 years computer science) and educator, he is a long-time student of anthroposophy. He is a member of the First Class, co-founder of Toronto Branch and Anthroposophy in Toronto and Board member of Rudolf Steiner College Canada. Grant is also a Foundation Studies teacher (Ontario and Hanoi).
