Edmonton Group<\/strong><\/p>

In the book What is Anthroposophy?<\/em> Rudolf Steiner observes (21\/07\/1923):<\/p>

\u201cThe present age calls for one thing and that is to look honestly into our own interiority, and come to know impartially our own spirit \u2013 the spirit that illuminates the soul from inside, as it were.\u201d He describes this as \u201cthe third level of initiation required in our time: the initiation of self-knowledge<\/em>\u201d [the first two levels being \u201cthrough the cosmos and through the sages\u201d].<\/p>

Our main Edmonton activity at present is a Study Group<\/strong> based at the WISE (Waldorf) Charter School, located at 7211 \u2013 96a Avenue NW.<\/p>

We meet weekly on a Monday evening from 7 p.m. until about 8:45.\u00a0 We begin with a half-hour of eurythmy exercise, followed by a Steiner book or lecture study.\u00a0 We read the text aloud and discuss the questions that arise for us.\u00a0 We are not a large group, but very committed and engaged, each with our own history in relation to anthroposophy.<\/p>
