At the 1923\/1924 Christmas Conference, whose 100th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary we celebrate next year, Rudolf Steiner re-founded the Anthroposophical Society and united his karma with it. What does this mean for membership in the Society today and our relationship to this deed, the culmination of Rudolf Steiner\u2019s life?<\/div>\n
Robert McKay will speak about what happened at this conference, just under a year after the burning of the Goetheanum. As Dr. Steiner referred to the conference as \u201ca turning point in time,\u201d it can be seen as a mystery event that warrants careful and respectful study. A complex event, it needs to be assessed in its several facets in order to understand it. As we work with it, we can come to realize that it is the beginning of an ongoing process, not just a single event in time.<\/div>\n
