Last week\u00a0The Presencing Institute<\/a>\u00a0at MIT launched the\u00a0Global Activation of Intention and Action<\/a>\u00a0forum: an international community.\u00a0Over 10,000 people from around the\u00a0world registered for this forum and the community is growing exponentially as people are connecting to\u00a0presencing\u00a0& collaborative leadership<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0work\u00a0from all corners of the globe, and from all disciplines and walks of life.<\/p>\n

In this forum, the Presencing Institute’s co-founder Otto Scharmer shared his perspective of the opportunity for potential learning from this global disruption in the\u00a0following way:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. We are all connected<\/li>\n
  2. You change the system<\/li>\n
  3. When we face disruption, we have to be awake<\/li>\n
  4. \u00a0 \u00a0In this moment we\u00a0have a choice : to\u00a0turn away, or turn towards change<\/li>\n
  5. The future depends upon the inner place from which we make this choice,\u00a0from which we choose to change.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The three areas of change:<\/p>\n

    Open mind – change learning<\/p>\n

    Open heart – change democracy<\/p>\n

    Open will – change economy<\/p>\n

    Most\u00a0importantly, the\u00a0GAIA\u00a0Journey<\/a>\u00a0involves the dynamic interaction between connecting globally\u00a0and acting locally in place and interest specific\u00a0communities.\u00a0I\u00a0am\u00a0very pleased to announce that\u00a0The Parcival Project<\/a>\u00a0is now officially a Presencing Institute\/GAIA\u00a0Journey ‘interest hub’ serving the exploration of collaborative leadership in the arts:\u00a0“The universal musical trinity of\u00a0rhythm, melody,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0harmony<\/strong>\u00a0can be transposed into\u00a0the language of\u00a0Theory U\u00a0<\/strong>as\u00a0willing, thinking,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0feeling.<\/strong>\u00a0Furthermore, the current emerging concept of\u00a0“timbre”<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0– the\u00a0quality\u00a0<\/em>or\u00a0colour<\/em>\u00a0of a sound and the\u00a0intention<\/strong>\u00a0of a performance – is dependent not only on the\u00a0inner state<\/strong>\u00a0of the\u00a0performer<\/strong>\u00a0but also that of the\u00a0listener<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
