KSLL (Kootenay Society for LifeLong Learning) a vu le jour le 7 f\u00e9vrier 2005 sous le nom de\u00a0: \u00a0International School of the Kootenays Society.
\nEn 2009 nous avons chang\u00e9 le nom et la mission de l\u2019initiative de\u00a0:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
\nInternational School of the Kootenay<\/strong>
\ndont la MISSION \u00e9tait<\/strong>d\u2019offrir un enseignement international et interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel visant \u00e0 c\u00e9l\u00e9brer l\u2019esprit humain et de favoriser l\u2019amour d\u2019apprendre chez des individus de tous \u00e2ges, selon les indications de Rudolf Steiner (Philosophe et visionnaire autrichien\u00a0: 1861-1925),<\/p>\n

\ntout en red\u00e9finissant notre mission <\/strong>comme suit\u00a0: Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation permanente, nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons l\u2019esprit humain universel en d\u00e9veloppant et soutenant des exp\u00e9riences d\u2019apprentissage qui \u00e9veillent et captent le potentiel humain.<\/p>\n

Notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u0153uvre pour la paix et la justice sociale par la cr\u00e9ation et le soutien d\u2019organismes sans but lucratif, de cours, de projets et d\u2019ateliers pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de niveau secondaire, pour les membres de la communaut\u00e9 et pour des invit\u00e9s venant d\u2019ailleurs dans le monde.<\/p>\n

\nProjets en cours et notre historique<\/strong>
\nDepuis sa naissance en f\u00e9vrier 2005, notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a mis sur pied les projets suivants\u00a0:<\/p>\n

The International School of the Kootenays<\/strong>\u00a0: une \u00e9cole secondaire ind\u00e9pendante \u00e0 Nelson, ayant re\u00e7u une certification aupr\u00e8s du Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c9ducation de la Colombie-Britannique et qui s\u2019est amalgam\u00e9e \u00e0 la \u00a0SelfDesign Learning Community en 2009 pour former le programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes secondaires pour le centre SelfDesign.<\/p>\n

PeaceCamps <\/strong>: une s\u00e9rie de camps de paix tenus au Camp Tipi sur les rives est du lac Kootenay.<\/p>\n

Fair Trade for Peace Market <\/strong>: un march\u00e9 favorisant le commerce \u00e9quitable qui se tient pendant le cong\u00e9 d\u2019hiver depuis 2009.<\/p>\n

Veggie Bus Project :\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e0 l\u2019origine, ce projet \u00e9tait une collaboration avecSelfDesign High, mais il se m\u00e9tamorphose en une \u00ab\u00a0ruche artistique\u00a0\u00bb ambulante! Nous l\u2019organiserons cette ann\u00e9e en collaboration avec le Nelson Youth Centre, l\u2019Oxygen Art Centre et le Kootenay Art Therapy Institute
\nYouth Lead the World :\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e0 l\u2019origine, ce projet aussi \u00e9tait une collaboration avecSelfDesign High, mais fera ses prochains pas avec KSLL et Ubuntu Learning.<\/p>\n

International Youth Projects :\u00a0<\/strong>un projet international pour les jeunes appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0PeaceJam\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
