04 Feb Gertrud Karter
Gertrud Karter crossed the threshold on August 28, 2008 after a short illness. A member of the Society since the early 50s, still from Germany, she immigrated to Vancouver in 1957, being a participant, weekly, at Mrs. Mayne’s place. Having moved to Port Hardy/Thetis Island, not many opportunities existed to participate. Gertrud is greatly missed by her husband Friederich and daughters Carmen and Gabriele and deceased daughter Jutta Karter who died January 14, 1962, and extended family in Europe…Fred Karter
